5 Days Road Trip With Avis Rental India

My solo travel experience, a Five day long tour from Mumbai –Gokarna- Dudhasagar- Mumbai , was amazing and soulful. I saw not only the usual tourist spots, but many that were certainly off the track, not so touristy spots. This time my travel companion was CAR by AVIS India Rental services.

Goa

This was the first time experience with rental car services and I am happy to say I found the best one as my first one and that is AVIS RENTAL INDIA.  The absolute best car rental service I have ever had! From the moment of checking online for information to the moment of leaving the car at the airport! .

Drive on Highway

I always had a dream of driving a big and muscular CAR, but these CAR are very expensive. AVIS undertands the overall value for money of your vehicle hire and offered me the exactly the car had requested, ‘Mahindra XUV500’, at a very pocket friendly rates. This was the car I was looking for, a brand new vehicle and spotless clean interior.

The rental process was very quick, simple and smooth. No pressure to buy insurance. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and demonstrated professnalism. I was travelling from Delhi to Mumbai and I was not certain about from where I would pick up the car. The concerned staff showed immense patience with my frequently changing needs and in bringing me the vehicle at a place and on time that suited my needs. Similarly the Drop off service was equally quick and effortless.

Stay At Tadri Beach

Traveling to Gokarna with AVIS RENTAL CARS was unlike any travel experience I have had before. I had been to Gokarna (also called mini Goa) once before, but every time gives me different perspective and experience. I travel to fulfil my own passion and hunger for travel. Before I travel, I generally do not set any specific expectation from the Trip. I actually plan very less and travel with the flow and try to explore the unexplored.  As a result. after every trip I feel like I could not have asked for a better experience.

Om Beach Trek

After a day-long driving from Mumbai to Gokarna with AVIS RENTAL CARS I reached my first destination in the late evening. I chose a local hut situated exactly on the shore of KUDLE beach for my stay. The host welcomed me with coconut water and an authentic local home cooked dinner (rice with rasam curry and fish curry) taking away all my tiredness. I spent my rest of the night relaxing in the hut listing to waves of the sea. The complete itenary I will post in my seperate post but I have shared highlights of the trip below;

Paradise Beach Trek

·         Kudle Beach – perfect week end getaway for a week end. Take a Hut for one day one night for spending leisure time relaxing. Get a morning view of sea shore and start a day with fresh homemade local  breakfast and coconut water.

·         The Light house – A small 20 minute track from Kudle beach towards light House for breath taking sunrise view and accidental sighting of playing dolphins at the surface of waters

·         Paradise Beach – A small 30-35 minute track from Kudle beach to paradise beach for an absolutely silent no man beach; one can also reach paradise beach via ferry services offered by locals.

·         Activities such as Snorkling/ paraglyding – A small 30-35 minute track from Kudle beach to paradise beach for an absolutely silent no man beach

·         OM Beach: Enjoy absolutely spectacular sunset view, as the name suggest it’s a perfect spot for meditation away from

·         Gokarna Caves: Visit temple situated near Gokarna

·         Dhudha Sagar - Stunning waterfall, two ways of visiting, breath taking scenic view of the falls from the train or one can also use jeep services combined with a small track to reach the base of falls.

To sum up, I had the most refreshing trip, I can't emphasize the authenticity of the experience enough. I met many people during my trip who inspired me in many different ways. The food was great. All the places I visited left impactful and lasting impression on me. I Will definitely will be back!
